**Description**_*Eligible as a remote ‘work from home’ position at any US location
– travel would be required__*Preferred locations: Arizona, California, Colorado, or Texas_Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of the Document Management Systems (DMS) Department which consists of a Global Team of 20+.

Manage staff for optimum performance.

Plan and maintain systems and procedures for operating efficiency for current and expanding activities related to integration of many multi-million-dollar businesses.

Set goals, support, and maintain Corporate objectives, Global operations, expansion, and Business Units requirements.

Maintain/develop relationships, position the DMS operations to meet planned growth, implement systems to process all work efficiently, and develop resources for continuous improvement and other projects.**MANAGE TEAM**+ Determine staffing requirements based on corporate requirements+ Hire and train new staff+ Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policy+ Set employee goals and objectives+ Develop staff to maximize potential+ Monitor staff performance including performance reviews**ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Ensure all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner while optimizing resources+ Delegate work duties to staff to attain objectives+ Allocate use of available resources+ Monitor and assist staff with work progress**BUSINESS OBJECTIVES**+ Meet business objectives.

Seek improvements.+ Apply strategic planning to determine company, department, or unit objectives+ Evaluate current business processes and systems+ Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency+ Establish and maintain controls+ Formulate department/unit policies and practices+ Coordinate financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency+ Facilitate the preparation and analysis of reports+ Review performance data (activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels+ Responsible for the achievement of department/division/unit productivity and quality goals+ Ensure efficiency of Part Data entries; timely processing, ~100% accuracy**Requirements****Education and Experience:**+ Bachelor’s degree required; Masters is a plus+ Experience at a Manager level or above: 6.5 years plus+ Manager level experience in Document Control+ Experience working with Global Resources to achieve Corporate and local goals**Knowledge of:**+ ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, Automotive, and Aerospace Industries+ Document Control functions+ Business and management principles and practices+ Strategic planning+ Knowledge of IT Systems development processes+ Human resource management principles and procedures+ Basic accounting principles and practices+ Office administrative procedures+ Proficient in relevant software applications, BaaN, SharePoint, MS Office, Adobe Pro, FrameMaker, Visio, Box, etc.+ Audit experience is a plus**Key Competencies:**+ Judgment+ Information management+ Resource management+ Project management+ Planning and organizing+ Automation and systems development+ Problem analysis and problem solving+ Delegating tasks and responsibility+ Communication skills+ Coaching+ Teamwork+ Adaptability+ DependabilityDocument Management System (DMS) has overall responsibility for controlled documents and related data systems which define how the company operates.
