We are based in Gilbert, AZ and have an opportunity for an exceptional Sales Manager, preferably experienced in the off-road or automotive aftermarket industry. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing sales plans based on Rigid?s goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction.
He/she directs the actual distribution or movement of product to the customer and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the team of Regional Sales Managers.
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of LED lighting units within the assigned region.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Plan and direct where appropriate, staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales associates within the region.
  • Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and record-keeping, and in receiving and shipping operations.
  • Maintain records of correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections, and maintain current information on licenses, and restrictions.
  • Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor?s Degree required, MBA a plus.
  • 60% Travel required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and executing sales plans grounded in solid analytics
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written use of the English language.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
