This is a Full-time position in Sedona, AZ posted June 10, 2021.

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for assisting Restaurant Management with the supervision and operation of the restaurant.

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and should be very comfortable interacting with guests and potential clients in a highly professional manner.

• Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

• Ensure work areas are neat and clean and delegate as necessary.

• Remain on the floor majority of time to maintain high level of service and standards including prompt delivery of food, food quality, cleanliness etc.

• Have complete knowledge of menu and ingredients and be able to effectively communicate to guests and staff.

• Lead morning lineup meetings and inform staff of all updates to menu.

• Communicate effectively with F&B managers and kitchen to ensure the team is aware of needs or changes.

• Be able to up-sell courses and menu and make proper recommendations.

• Ensure proper settlement of checks.

• Ensure communication with oncoming shift.

• Handle guest complaints or special requests and use discretion when offering compensation.

• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude.

• Promote hotel amenities and services to guests using personal knowledge and effective selling techniques.

• Assist with administrative work.

• Coordinate reservations on high capacity days, high volume evenings and confirm reservations.

• Expert at Open table.

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a related field preferred.

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a luxury hotel or a related field required.

• Extensive food and wine knowledge.

• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
