Focus:

Database Infrastructure Operations is looking for a well-rounded, driven and upbeat professional to join our team as a Project Manager.

In this role, you will help shape the future of the organization as you support & lead a variety of initiatives tied to business operations and product management of this organization.

You will partner and empathize with a wide variety of contributors to ensure our initiatives deliver great customer and colleague experiences.

A key part of this role will be to contribute to and drive agility, innovation and partnership with technology and business teams.

This role requires strong multi-business unit partner management and an ability to influence across multiple levels.

The candidate must work well in a dynamic and sophisticated environment, and at times under the pressure of time limits.

You must excel at pivoting from a high-level context with executives to granular level of detail with project teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across a wide range of strategic, analytic and communications initiatives to help ensure the business and product objectives of the area are attained.
  • Lead key colleague initiatives, including processes for organizational effectiveness and completion of requirements across the team.
  • Play a key role in driving the goals of the team, including oversight of special projects and initiatives.
  • Work with the leadership team and critical partners to ensure that business objectives and targets are met.
  • Proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish collaborative relationships at all levels across the organization.
  • Provide planning and coordination support, including project management, analytical support, and support of critical initiatives as required, including supervising progress against key priorities.
  • Support the development and execution of internal communications and logistics for key events, business updates and other activities, including accountability for organizing staff meetings and town halls.
  • Strong communicator with results-driven mindset.
  • Develop communication materials, presentations and analytics for town halls.
  • Prepare and present executive level dashboards, reports and metrics.
  • Create and own an effective communication strategy and actively seek feedback to ensure maximum colleague engagement and drive a sense of belonging as well as support our leaders in their development and effectiveness.
  • Visual storyteller with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically to create impactful presentations by identifying, gathering, synthesizing, and assessing an assortment of data.
  • Proactively develop a strong network and working relationships with various constituents across the company to accomplish tasks on behalf of the team.
  • Play an active role in the team’s colleague experience and engagement.
  • Balance the management of day-to-day business priorities along with long-term strategic imperatives.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Prior relevant Technology and business work experience

  • Confluence, Jive and SharePoint experience a plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with excellent organization skills and careful attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to learn quickly and work proactively with minimal direction

  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate across departmental and geographic boundaries
  • Strong sense of integrity and ability to deal with issues and subject matter that requires considerable sensitivity, discretion and judgment
  • Experience in working as part of an executive office team preferred
  • Experience coordinating day to day Director or VP level priorities preferred
