Life Enrichment Director

Prestige Care and Rehabilitation - Pinewood Terrace

This is a Full-time position in Sierra Vista, AZ posted May 3, 2021.

What does the LifeEnrichment Director do?

The Life Enrichment Director collaborates with the LifeEnrichment Assistant, Executive Director, and other team members at the assistedliving community to coordinate, develop, implement, and lead life enrichment +resident activity programs.

In this job, everyday you will..

Implement a creative life enrichment programbased on the Celebrations philosophy of wellness.

Plan and implement life enrichment calendar andnewsletter each month that utilizes Celebrations wellness programming includingfive of the six areas of wellness.

Collaborate with Community Relations Director,Wellness Coach and Executive Director in development of calendar to includespecial events and themes for residents, family, friends, and prospectsutilizing Celebrations focus plan.

Coordinate transportation of residents andoperates van or bus to transport residents to and from events, appointments,and programs as needed by the Community.

Maintain life enrichment budget, equipment, andsupplies.

Participate in the review of individualResidents’ Service Plans and documents life enrichment progress every sixmonths or when there is a significant change in the resident.

Train staff on the importance of lifeenrichment, Linked Senior devices and other areas that create engagement andquality of life for residents.

Education & Experienceneeded to qualify:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college oruniversity preferred majoring in Recreation, Music, or Occupational Therapy.

Two or more years of direct programmingexperience with older adults preferred; or equivalent combination of educationand experience.

A valid commercial Class B driver’s license(CDL) as required by local, state and federal law and regulations.

Must be able to meet insurance qualifications tooperate company vehicles including passenger vans and bus.
