This position has overall P&L responsibility for selected market segments within Planarization business field in semiconductor materials business unit. The person needs to understand the market trends, identify technology and customer needs and lead the global team to drive successful customer adoptions of our CMP slurry products. One element of Planarization growth is to ensure we have a continued strong pipeline of new opportunities and to gain high success rates for these opportunities. Critical to success in this position is developing and maintaining close collaborations with our strategic customers and OEM partners. Acceleration of new product development is an essential element to the division’s growth strategy; thus, it will be essential that this position maintain a close and collaborative working relationship with our technology and fulfillment organization.
Nature and Scope
This position is based in Tempe US or Taiwan and will work closely with our global teams. The ability to network with a diverse group of people is needed because members of this team will be located in Asia, North America and Europe. Strong interpersonal, organization and technical skills are required to address this challenging position. The position also requires the ability to effectively work across a matrix of functional groups within the company including supply chain, decision support, EH&S, technology, legal, asset management, operation, and engineering. The position also requires the ability to lead and manage project execution and timeline and drive continued project focus, identify global market trends and to maximize the benefit of our ongoing work with key strategic semiconductor customers. The role will need to work closely with Sales, other Marketing managers and asset management to align and determine commercial priorities.
