Overview

Connections Health Solutions is a behavioral health company that provides crisis stabilization and access to care for anyone needing behavioral health services. We are hiring a Director of Customer Success who will provide leadership in strategic account management and customer relations across all business units. This role is responsible for understanding, interpreting, and ensuring performance of contracts across all business units. The Director of Customer Success will assist in coordinating billing, data, and clinical/operational teams in efforts related to contract implementation and performance. They will perform analysis to support communications and recommendations on contract performance, for both internal business partners and externally with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation of contracts with partners, both internally and externally, including managing data exchange and billing pathways.
  • Performs analysis, generates and presents reporting around KPIs and collaborates with other areas in evaluating contract performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leads preparation of customer Joint Operating/Executive Committee agenda and materials for external meetings with customers to discuss contract performance, new opportunities, and overall partnership.
  • Services as first point-of-contact for customer inquiries.
  • Partners with other teams on contracting and clinical considerations that impact claims submissions and other reimbursement models with customers.
  • Administers and leads shared savings and other value-based settlements with health plan customers.
  • Partners with IT on business reporting, system changes, and upgrades.
  • Drafts contract amendments and manages strategic relationships during contract renewal negotiations.
  • Maintains professional relationships and collaborates across teams, managing projects, facilitating meetings and presenting in various settings, including to executive leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a health care or business field
  • At least 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of experience working in health plans or provider-side network contracting, or a related function
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in projects and in managing customer and/or vendor relations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong project and people management skill
  • Strong communication and ability to influence skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Prior experience working in or with multiple Payor types (Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial, etc.)
