This is a Contract position in Avondale, AZ posted August 10, 2021. is hiring a Collections Manager Remote; any location Position Summary: The collections manager will be responsible for development and on-going performance of collection efforts over the company’s subscription-based billing accounts.

Essential Job Functions: Develop and implement scalable business processes related to collections for various types of subscription accounts Assist in developing more automated processes around managing the Company’s subscription accounts Manage collections processes, working closely with Billing Operations, Sales, and customers to resolve customer payment issues Serve as primary resource for partner’s questions regarding collections and exception authorizations for subscription accounts Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and consult with Finance on a regular basis regarding past due invoices and appropriate course of action Review customer contract terms, other billing-related terms, invoices, and billing schedules Report and work closely with organizational leaders to ensure collections balances are maintained at an acceptable level including review of monthly aging and DSO reports Assess bad debt write-offs and the booking of allowance for doubtful accounts Performs other collections tasks as assigned which may include project support, data entry, claim review, charge review, accounts receivable follow-up, or other responsibilities Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of Freight Transportation and SaaS businesses preferred 5 years’ experience with billing, credit, and collections Working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Team-oriented, cooperative, and collaborative Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex collection problems and formulate solutions Strong customer relations and negotiation skills Ability to independently prioritize assignments, deal with disruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment Detail oriented and accurate Possess a desire for continuous learning and an aptitude for process improvement Supervisory Responsibilities: None Physical Demands: Minimum physical exertion.

Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 5 pounds on a regular basis.

Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 75% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard and mouse.
