We seek an experienced professional to join our team as the Business Office Director for our four communities throughout the West Phoenix area. This position is based in our Corporate office located in Youngtown, Arizona (Peoria Ave. and 115th Ave.).The Business Office Director has the authority and responsibility for the daily operations of the business billing office. This responsibility includes managing, supervising and performing operations including census, cash receipts, accounts receivable, preparation of billing statements, Medicare and Medicaid billing, and Resident trust funds.* Perform, administer and oversee the communities billing functions (long term care, short term rehab, assisted living and independent living) to include accounts receivable, collections and Resident trust fund accounts.* Ensures Resident statement accuracy and that claims are submitted timely and accurately to various providers and payers.* Oversees preparation and timely mailing of Resident billing statements.* Facilitates collections and reimbursements related to Resident move in, move out and transfer billing documentation.* Ensures all aspects of Resident billing, payment, rent changes and other charges are submitted timely and accurately.* Analyzes data, looks for trends and leads solutions related to cash collections and uncollectible accounts.* Collaborate effectively with others (MDS, Admissions, Case Management, Executive Directors, etc.) to move the billing process forward.* Leads the monthly Medicare triple check meeting.* Seeks and attends education opportunities to stay abreast of billing trends and provider requirements.* Embraces the LifeStream mission and values and leads effectively and positively.* All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.LifeStream is compelled by Christs love to provide compassionate care and community to enhance the lives of seniors.Qualifications include:* Strong prior experience in business office billing in long term care, short term rehab, assisted living and independent living environments.* Knowledge of PDPM.* Professional, reliable, and must have proven leadership experience and skills.* Organized with the ability to multi-task and respond to multiple priorities and/or events.* Skill with speaking with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.* Ability to interact professionally with Residents, family members, all levels of Associates and executive leadership combined with strong communication and presentation skills.* Strong computer skills, including high level of experience with Excel* Prior experience with billing software; preferable experience with Point Click Care and ABILITY,* Demonstrated experience managing projects to completion* Coaching and strong influencing skills* Capable of working independently and collaboratively, with a sleeves rolled up approach* A passion for serving and enhancing the lives of SeniorsSkills/ Requirements:1. At least 5 years business billing experience preferably in LTC, rehab, AL2. Experience with billing to Medicare, HMO, Medicaid and private payers3. Ability to travel locally to LifeStream locations and non-locally for education purposes4. Fingerprint clearance card (or the ability to obtain one)5.
