The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

Team supports enterprise Complaints database which is the single source of truth for complaints data cross the enterprise. Responsible for sourcing, maintenance and update process of complaints data through release management cycle. Team is responsible for overall release management, release testing and communications. Additionally, team is owns driving of initiatives supporting complaints data, data quality routines and taxonomy change management for CDAR. 

The Business Initiative Consultant supports initiatives related to major customer complaint programs and the enterprise complaints database. This role has specific accountability for:

  • Managing monthly release process for complaints database 
  • Organization and prioritization work 
  • Hosting daily status meetings
  • Management of request intake and backlog
  • Release testing management and oversight 
  • Leading initiatives to support BAU and strategic priorities across the organization  
  • Identifying and driving process improvement opportunities across release management process and BAU activities 
  • Responsible for building and maintaining audit-worthy processes, documentation, and data/BI reporting outputs

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Project management experience
  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives
  • SharePoint experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology software: release management
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale initiatives
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 1+yrs of experience managing JIRA projects/boards 
  • 2+yrs of experience in release testing processes and management
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience 

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
