Asks for guidance from more senior examiners and/or leadership for most complex claims.

Incumbents have up to $10,000 reserve authority; $5,000 settlement authority and $2,500 payment authority.Prepare files for reassignment as needed.Handle claims to conclusion.Authorizes and/or approves all claims payments within the delegated authority or within the maximum limits as outlined in company policies and procedures.Determines proper policy coverages and investigates, evaluates, negotiates and equitabily settles all assigned claims cases in accordance with company guidelines and best claims practices.Documents and establishes timely reserves and executes claims payments within the delegated authority.

Provides recommended action for all claims payments beyond delegated authority.Conducts settlement negotiations with claimants, policy holders and/or their attorneys.Initiates and conducts follow-ups via use of claims handling diary system and other related systems.Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.Copy and paste URL into browser to view full description: https://swifttrans.Jdxpert.Com/ShowJob.Aspx?EntityID=2& Id=2090Qualifications: What you need to bring1-3 years’ experience in insurance/claims required.Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.Must be able to take direction from leadership and be detail orientated.Must be very organized and able to multi-task.Must be able to make timely commitments and follow through on commitments made.Must possess strong investigative skills with the ability to achieve optimal conflict resolutions.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent time management skills.Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be proficient with MS Office.The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
