OJT Training Coordinator

Worldwide Flight Services

This is a Contract position in Phoenix, AZ posted October 3, 2020.

Responsible for providing and coordinating On-The-Job-Training (OJT) for new hires and tenured employees in various areas of the warehouse and ramp Operation.

Will conduct Interviews for open positions, track pipeline of candidates,attend Job Fairs Provides training for individual or in group settings to new hire as well as tenured employees Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.

Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.

Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.

Assigns trainees with mentors and ensures adequate and proper OJT training is being provided Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.

Complies with all safety policies, practices, and training procedures.

Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.

Maintains a training log with trainees and records of qualifications, holds one-on-one meetings with new trainees and management.

Required Skills Must be at least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Valid drivers’ license.

Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.

Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

Must possess leadership qualities.

Knowledge and experience in warehouse and/or airline ground handling operations preferred.

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
