And we hold the following Key Agreements in all of our interpersonal interactions:* Staying Engaged* Speaking Your Truth Responsibly* Listening to Understand* Being Willing to do Things Differently and to Experience Discomfort* Expecting and Accepting Non-closure, and* ConfidentiallyPosition Description:Under the supervision of the Willcox Operations Supervisor, this position is primarily responsible for driving a company truck (CDL Class A required) to make deliveries and to perform distributions to our partner agencies and clients in southeastern Arizona. The position is also responsible for warehouse duties at the Willcox Distribution Center, including the loading and unloading of trucks, monthly client food distributions, inventory control, and general warehouse housekeeping.Duties and Responsibilities:* Drive a Class A CDL truck daily to deliver food items and to conduct food distributions in support of the CFB mission.* Conduct client distributions at remote distribution sites across the CFB service area in southeastern Arizona.* Perform warehouse support activities at the Willcox Distribution Facility, including but not limited to loading and unloading of trailers and general housekeeping (requires forklift and power jack certification).* Maintain records of all inbound and outbound orders in compliance with all CFB policies and best practices.* Complete and submit vehicle mileage log, vehicle inspection reports, trailer inspection reports, donation bills-of-lading, and all other necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.* Operate CFB truck and trailers in accordance with all applicable DOT regulations and CFB standards, including maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness of the truck.* Maintain routine vehicle maintenance schedule. Coordinate maintenance and repairs as required with the Willcox Operations Supervisor.* Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all local health codes, AIB and Feeding America standards applicable to food acquisition, storage and distribution.* Maintain contact with Willcox Operations Supervisor during all assigned work periods to ensure pick-ups and deliveries are made as scheduled and to receive additional instructions or information.* Responsible for accessing, understanding and following documented procedures and policies.* Uphold food safety procedures and support product traceability and recalls as needed, including ensuring that all food items are transported at the correct temperatures to ensure food safety and quality of all transported items.* Participate in and support the monthly CFB inventory of food items at the Willcox facility.* Support the monthly food distribution to CFB clients at the Willcox facility.* Responsible for maintaining excellent customer service relations with all external CFB partners and donors, as well as all internal CFB personnel.* Support and facilitate volunteer activities at the CFB Willcox Distribution Center and at remote distribution sites.* Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Current and valid Arizona CDL Class A Drivers License, a safe driving record, current DOT Medical Certification and for insurance purposes, must be at least 21 years of age.* Ability to be insured under the CFB insurance carrier plan.* Ability to become forklift and power jack certified within 30 days of hire.* Experience in general warehouse equipment including operation of forklift and electric pallet jack a plus.* Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and tolerate extreme temperatures.* Self-starter and team player with the ability to work independently and effectively.* Excellent customer service, organization, planning, communication, and public relations skills.* Ability to work with people of widely varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds.* Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact professionally with the public and work effectively with others.* Understanding and empathy for the needs of the economically disadvantaged.Physical Requirements:* Very Heavy work Ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Core ValuesCFBSA is committed to providing employees with an environment in which the Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Accountability, Collaboration, Excellence, Innovation, and Social Justice are supported and encouraged.The Community Food Bank is a drug and tobacco free work environment.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
