Position Summary
The TMS Senior Sales and Estimating Executive will analyze, quantify, and anticipate the materials, labor and equipment needed to complete a construction project.

The role requires a person who works well under pressure, knows how to manage their time, has excellent “people skills” and can maintain the highest level of accuracy and organization while typically working on multiple projects at a time.

The candidate accepting this role will have the opportunity to become the
PreConstruction Workerager for TMS within 1-3 years.

Commitments & Responsibilities
Capturing accurate scope of work o Read and organize information from specifications, addendums, bidder instructions, front end documents and schedule into the Estimating Workbook o Review architectural plans for TMS scope(s) o Quantify all relevant scope in Bluebeam o Collaborate with operations team to review plans/specifications Supply Chain Coordination o Work with supplier to request and obtain well documented material and lift equipment quotes o Work with supplier for material installation guides, material usage, manufacturer warranties and requirements o Maintain up to date supplier Price Lists o Search and find new products coming forward in the marketplace Estimating o Create a detailed financial breakdown of each scope including labor, material, lift equipment o Ensure accuracy of labor rates, material and lift equipment quotes o Ensure estimates are grounded in past history and grounded interpretations of the future Creating Proposals o Qualify customer needs through multiple customer sources to gain insight needed to design a compelling offer that can be valued and not just priced o Complete final offer with accurate proposal that addresses both fundamental and specific concerns o Submit final offers to customer and support detailed design reviews over time during preconstruction Follow-up with potential customer(s) until prospective job is either won or lost o Document all communications in Salesforce o Capture lessons learned from customers and modifying bid/proposal processes to improve
Minimum Education and demonstrated accomplishments:
Ability to work independently and as a team against deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Demonstrated communication skills both written and oral Advanced skills with Bluebeam, Excel, Word and Customer Relationship management systems (eg: Salesforce) Holds strong math skills Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent Experience)
Salary Range: (Negotiable depending on demonstrated accomplishments)
