Business Development Representative

WHO ARE WE?

We design-build and transform financial institutions on the latest designs, products, services, processes, and efficiencies.

Basically, we are the cool kids on the block.

And our block is a design-build innovation firm that specializes in transforming Banks, Credit Unions, and their branch networks.

This position supports the sales pipeline by follow-up on interest in our product and services.

Our consultative offering is directly correlated with most industry pressing issues.

We are great at what we do, generating interest in our solutions is not hard.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

A highly motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent outbound sales performer who is ready to take on a new challenge within the financial industry.

You must have the ability to clearly communicate on the phone, email, and on social media to diligently follow up with prospects to develop relationships that turn into opportunities for your sales team.

Our growing team needs a strong candidate with demonstrated experience in maintaining accurate Salesforce account records (account, contact, and activity records) and opportunity records (project start/end dates, contract signed dates, contract amount, and correct stages).

We have a dedicated team to teach you to communicate our offering, so you can tailor the message to our prospects, and connect their demand to our award-winning solutions.

Top Three Objectives:

1.

Lead Management
– The Catalyst’s primary focus is lead management for their assigned territory.

This includes working to connect and schedule meetings for inbound leads and outbound leads generated from the Catalyst’s outbound prospecting efforts.

2.

Opportunity Management
– The Catalyst partners with the Strategists in their assigned territory to create and move opportunities forward in the sales process.

This includes maintaining accurate notes in the Salesforce CRM for all interactions, setting up follow-up meetings, and providing any additional support needed to advance opportunities to ‘closed’ status.

3.

Account Management
– The Catalyst supports the Strategist in generating repeat business from existing customers.

This includes monitoring all customer activity as well as project management work related to our marketing efforts, setting appointments for Strategists to conduct quarterly account reviews, and keeping the Salesforce CRM up to date with all changes for financial institutions in their assigned territories.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Effectively leverage sales enablement tools and systems (available marketing resources, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook calendars, GoTo meeting) to deliver:
Outbound Lead generation Inbound Lead follow-up Phone Calls / Emails Prospecting research LinkedIn Navigator Research Prospect and Financial Institution (FI) Research Regularly updating information held in our CRM (Salesforce) from prospecting research CRM data hygiene

WHAT YOUR TIME WILL LOOK LIKE:

40% of your time will be spent on:

Facilitate the lead process for contacts within assigned territory.

Effectively manage your day to meet your top three objectives: lead management, opportunity management, and account management, through prospecting, track, and maturing opportunities through the sales cycle.

40% of your time will be spent on:

Set initial prospect meetings, follow-up meetings, and documentation for proposals.

Maintain Salesforce accounts with accurate notes, lead documentation, meetings, data, updated contact records, updated account records, and opportunities.

20% of your time will be spent on:

Participate in Ideation Center visits and follow-ups in collaboration with your Strategist partners.

WHAT WE’LL ASK YOU TO DO:

You will take generated leads and turn them into customers.

That will include outbound-prospect calling, researching new prospects, and so much more.

One thing is for sure, your days will never be the same and you will always be learning something new.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

It’s imperative that you have strong professional writing skills and the ability to deliver clear and concise messages to C-Suite.

You are proficient in the Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, etc.).

You have some experience with social media platforms, even if it is for personal use.

As a self-starter, you can pick up things quickly.

We have a lot of different programs and software so tech proficiency is a must.

Excellent writing skills will help you with daily tasks.

An Associate’s degree or work experience equivalent and a willingness to learn.

It would be a major plus if you understand the financial industry including roles, functions of the business, budget/planning cycles, current trends and initiatives, and common challenges within the industry.
