Benefit Broker Development Representative

This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted February 23, 2021.

The Benefit Broker Development Representative’s purpose is to provide broker channel business development and sales support to benefit brokers/consultants.  This position is responsible for delivering value in our Broker Concierge Partner Program (BCS) and generating increased levels of opportunities with our current broker partners.  The position supports the field and BCS sales team by engaging with brokers and supplementing opportunity pipeline.  The Benefit Broker Development Representative (BDR) will be equipped with comprehensive tools, resources, and training to target lists of current partners and prospective brokers more effectively.  Activities will include broker engagement campaigns using social medial, email, webinar and phone while representing PrimePay in a professional and ethical manner. 

Responsibilities of the Benefit Broker Development Representative Include:

  • Field in-bound inquiries from Broker Partners and PrimePay teammates
  • Facilitate BC Partner sales and service support issues
  • Coordinate campaigns with the field sales and BCS team to generate benefit broker opportunities
  • Follow-up on monthly broker webinar participation, as needed
  • Connect benefit brokers to the value of the BC Partner Program to increase awareness, engagement and opportunities from our BC Partners
  • Become the frontline of support for Broker Concierge Partners
  • Effectively use Social Medica campaigns to reach and engage more benefit’s brokers-related sales activities
  • Work collaboratively with the field and BCS sales team to coordinate broker-related sales activity
  • Prospect to benefit brokers to market the value of the PrimePay HCM solutions
  • Perform a “needs analysis” of new BC Partners to identify opportunities for PrimePay’s suite of services
  • Gathers and documents market data intelligence in CRM system
  • Report on annual production bonus and encourage activities to get to the next level each quarter
  • Advertise PrimePay and the value of the BC program in the marketplace
  • Track daily activities through Salesforce
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong keyboarding and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy including Windows, Microsoft office
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, preferred
  • Must be persistent with follow-up activities
  • Manage multiple broker tasks and requests with accuracy and professionalism
  • Take initiatives to develop strong broker relationships
  • Comfortable with making outbound calls to both current and new brokers to carry out strategic partner initiatives 
  • Position can be remote or located in PrimePay office either on West or East Coast

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS degree, preferred
  • Employee benefits experience, preferred
  • One-year account manager experience, preferred

SUCCESS METRICS:

Activities will be tracked and measured each month

  • Proactively reach out to key agencies on a quarterly basis with production results
  • Engage with all webinar, conference and CE participants within the month of participation
  • Approximately 50 brokers per event
  • Respond to questions, seeking technical guidance as needed
  • Provide event deliverables
  • Re-engage with BC partners who are not referring business completing the list by third quarter
  • Connect with 25 Account Managers who have not worked with us in a current partner agency per quarter providing training and content
  • Complete outreach product solution theme campaigns (agency list provided) each quarter.  Call and email script with technical brief, sales strategy, product sell sheet and marketing flyer provided
