ft facility in Phoenix, AZ serves as the West Coast Distribution Center for ABB’s Electrification Installation Products business (formerly known as Thomas & Betts).

More than 3,000 products from across Installation Products’ entire portfolio are stocked at this new Distribution Center.

ABB Installation Products is the leading manufacturer of marquee products needed in the electrification ecosystem, including key brands such as T&B Liquidtight Fittings, Ty-Rap, Elastimold and Blackburn/Color Keyed products.

The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and is located Phoenix, Arizona.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, communicating and directing distribution associates through daily activities while placing high emphasis on safety, quality, productivity and housekeeping to meet the daily goals and objectives.Your responsibilitiesLead, communicate and direct distribution associates through daily activities focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeepingPerform process audits to ensure compliance to documented proceduresHands-on participation requiring high level of floor presence in order to direct the flow of daily activities and the timely movement of associates to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness throughout the operationCapture daily performance activity for determining effective methods to increase performanceUnderstand and maintain work prioritiesMonitor system and communication with internal/external customers to ensure work in being completed timelyAttend and assist with “Pre-Shift” meeting to share information, discuss safety, quality, daily plans, and staffing needsProvide feedback and input to supervisor regarding associate’s performance, behavior and attendanceFollow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all timesOther duties as requested by managementYour backgroundMinimum 2 years of experience in a fast paced distribution environmentHigh School Diploma or equivalencyPrior experience as Supervisor/Team Leader a plusWorking knowledge of a warehouse management systemAbility to operate power industrial equipmentBasic computer skills and good understanding of overall distribution operationsMust be able to handle confidential and sensitive information/situations in a professional mannerMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequentlyNot afraid of heights – Ability to work at all module levelsRequired to climb, bend, stoop, and stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout shiftStrong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situationsDetailed and team orientedFlexible to work different shift if necessary and overtime with little or no noticeCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USMore about usWe look forward to receiving your application.
