Your Role:

The Planarization Technical Operations Team is looking to add a Senior Chemist to our team who will support the Planarization organization at the Tempe Az. The role offers an opportunity to work with all the functions within the Planarization organization to transfer new products from the R&D team to the Global Manufacturing sites.

  • Work with the R&D team to understand new CMP products and the critical factors in the Formulation
  • Provide input on Scale Up requirements to the NPI Process
  • Understand the capabilities and limitation of existing manufacturing assets and identify were assets need improvements
  • Develop and execute timelines and transfer plans aligned with the business needs to move new products from R&D to the HVM manufacturing site
  • Identify opportunities to improve the scale up and transfer process and work with the team to achieve the improvements
  • As necessary introduce and qualify new equipment to improve formulation blending capability

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or other science discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in chemistry
  • 2+ years of experience with the development and/or manufacture of formulated products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Adaptable to quick change and remains constructive under pressure
  • Highly motivated and responsive to employee and customer needs
  • Detailed investigation / troubleshooting & presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Comfortable reporting results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with people from various backgrounds/cultures
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to share knowledge and skills
