Position Description: As a Senior Process Engineer, you will use skills related to sustaining and improving production manufacturing processes as part of a cross-functional team.

Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions and improvements for products, processes, and systems Mentor and train team members throughout the design, development, qualification, and implementation phases of different projects Provide engineering support to various teams such as Production, Quality Systems, Quality Control, Regulatory, Finance, Clinical Development, and ProcurementApply theoretical and engineering principles using analytical techniques for the evaluation and solution of technical problems Develop, qualify and update engineering documents such as manufacturing instructions, drawings, and test methodsDevelop and implement design/process improvements and monitor effectivenessLead investigations and document and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as neededWrite test protocols and reports, conduct various testing, collect and analyze data and trendsDevelop and review engineering documents such as process maps, process FMEA, Manufacturing/Quality Instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reportsInvestigate materials, manufacturing processes and technologiesResearch and qualify new suppliers and vendorsReview and evaluate non-conforming materials, address customer experience reports, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective and preventative actionsProvide technical guidance to other team members and train as necessary on manufacturing documentation, prototype generation and data analysisIdentify project critical paths in order to define project priorities and manage resourcesDevelop contingency plans for alternative project paths as necessaryCollaborate with the Production team to identify capabilities and capacityCollaborate with the Engineering team for fixturing and tooling design, tolerancing, and design for manufacturingProvide periodic updates to customers and management as needed Position Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of relevant Engineering work experienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent engineering experienceExtensive experience with manufacturing equipment and processesExtensive experience with computer-aided design (i.e.

SolidWorks), spreadsheets, scheduling programs, and word processingExperience with technical writing Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD)Knowledgeable about a variety of materials and mechanical designsAbility to effectively manage projects and work in cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively present informationStrong technical aptitude and detail-oriented Ability to translate customer requirements to engineering specificationsAbility to provide solutions and designs to complex problemsAbility to troubleshoot and repair existing devices, fixtures and equipmentStrong technical writing and documentation skillsProficient technical reasoning, prototyping, and manufacturing processes skillsAbility to work independently with minimal guidanceStrong computer skills including spreadsheet and word processingMust demonstrate originality, ingenuity, and integrityExperience in investigations and root cause analysisExperience in design/process Verification and Validation (V) activitiesExperience designing, assembling, and testing finished devices, hardware and software integration Experience with CAD modeling or statistical analysis softwareAs a healthcare company, it is of the utmost importance to keep our teams safe and healthy in this ever-changing COVID-19 environment.
