Pricing Analyst I – Spares

This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted April 5, 2021.

Job Description This entry level position is within the Pricing Department and is responsible for pricing proposed contracts and negotiation offers.

Position is currently expected to be remote only, but may change to on-site if CDC and company guidance regarding the pandemic changes.

Main focus will be on spares proposals through:Reviewing historical data on spares contract performance and pricingRequesting and analyzing labor and material estimates for spares pricingSetting up each spares proposal in ProPricer & running material cost consolidationCalculating spares quote pricesTracking status of each spares proposalPreparing cost documentation to support the spares proposal bid approval processThis position will report directly to the Pricing Manager I and will be trained by a peer Pricing Analyst.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor”s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related major, or Associates degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or High School diploma with 6 years of relevant experienceProficient computer skills specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookAbility to analyze cost estimatesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment, on-site or remoteDemonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlinesOther desirable qualities: sound professional judgment, business acumen, ability to plan and organizePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Knowledge of the aerospace industry or government defense contractingKnowledge of ProPricer softwareKnowledge of FAR regulationsPrior experience in product pricing or proposal preparationAbility to perform entry-level pricing analysis, prepare basic spreadsheets, and have knowledge of basic accounting conceptAbout BAE Systems Platforms & Services BAE Systems, Inc.
