What You’ll DoAssist Mortgage Loan Officer in the administration and processing of mortgage loans to ensure efficient loan processing in all phases of the loan transaction.

Responsibilities: Assist Loan Officer with Clerical FunctionsMake copies of borrower information, filing, and other administrative duties as instructed by the Loan Officer.Conduct preliminary research needed on the loan to help determine mortgage eligibilityAssist in pre-qualifications and pre-approval orders as instructed by the Loan Officer.

Pull credit reports and running AUS.

Contact the borrower for any and/or additional information required.Set signing appointments.

Provide customer service to clients.Communicate with parties to schedule and set a signing appointment.Prepare files for submission to loan processingData input function including setting up new customer files with application data.Update and mine marketing database for new loansUpdate the Loan Officer’s database, mail thank-you notes to customers and realtors.Any other miscellaneous requirements of the teamClerical ad hoc duties, as needed.QualificationsRequirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.

2-4 year college curriculum preferred.

Minimum one year experience and/or training.

Knowledge of Encompass Database software and or equivalent along with basic computer skills.

Administrative assistant experience, clerical, and customer service knowledge.

Mortgage banking industry, familiar with Conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage products.

A clear understanding of the current RESPA laws and guidelines.

Teamwork and productivity skills.

Must possess excellent problem solving and customer service skills.P/C computer skills with a solid understanding of MS Office and the ability to use the loan origination system.In order to succeed in this position, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service skills is a must.
