Bringing your whole self to work is something we take seriously.n n About The Positionn n We are seeking a motivated Managing Editor to join our growing Customer Success team, reporting to our Director of Customer Success.

This is not your typical Managing Editor Role.

This position is focused on building out the branding for new ClearVoice clients, overseeing topic ideation, and acting as resource for freelancers on editorial questions.

This role is one of the first the client works with, and is crucial to setting clients up for success.n nThe Managing Editor will deal with a high volume of clients, spending varying levels of time with each depending on their needs.

They will have a firm grasp of editorial standards, as well as the ability to clearly and concisely communicate those to clients and freelancers.

They will serve as a content marketing strategist, able to provide recommended courses of action when it comes to content type, length, and structure.n nAs a Managing Editor you will work with clients of all levels of sophistication regarding their branding.

This is a mid-level position that collaborates closely with the Sales, Product, and Talent Success teams.n nThe position is based in Phoenix, Arizona or in one of our remote statesn nDay-to-day Tasks Includen Collaborate with a team of Success Managers, Talent Managers, Editors and Freelancers to place, produce and deliver high-quality content In accord with Success Managers, interview customers to best understand preferences and content goals.

Extract editorial guidelines, target audiences, personas, tones and preferences from customers Ensure customer onboarding runs smoothly, assisting in the development or uploading of key customer documentation into the ClearVoice platform Hold ideation and topic discovery strategy calls or email collaboration with customers Review work from new freelance editors to ensure accuracy and adherence to the customer”s brand guidelines Ensure work is delivered accurately and meets all deadlines Ensure all editorial processes are followed and implement improvements Actively contribute to our organization and company culture Serve as the go-to resource for clarifying questions from freelancers in the first 60 day ramp-up period for the customer n n Requirementsn n You n Are a positive, upbeat, individual capable of connecting with everybody.

Enjoy being on Zoom, talking to customers, asking meaningful questions, listening to clients, and identifying opportunities to educate and inform clients.

Have the ability to shift priorities quickly but remain focused Are tech-savvy.

In addition to our platform we are heavy users of Google Drive, Hubspot, Slack, and Monday.com Have a good understanding of what content marketing and inbound marketing is; a background in content creation or marketing is a plus Are adaptive to change Have worked in subjective environments where there is more than one path to your clients success.

n n Desired Skillsn n The Managing Editor is an experienced content producer, editor and project manager.

This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the followingn 3-5 years of content management, production or journalism experience with demonstrated results Significant editorial, writing and communication experience Brand building (Creating personas, tones, audiences, etc.) Excellent research, writing and editing skills Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Able to easily collaborate on various projects and industries throughout a wide array of industries SEO experience preferred Passion for all things content and technology A positive, entrepreneurial attitude Adept at vetting, managing, mentoring, and negotiating with creatives Able to work autonomously and with minimal direction Highly organized with strong time management skills Software knowledgen Microsoft Office Word, PPT, Excel Google Apps Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Analytics CRM
