Learning Technology Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in search of a Learning Technology Specialist in Tucson, AZ. Duties:

  • Use up-to-date knowledge and skills associated with the content being developed and delivered
  • Access and use other expert resources to implement and maintain learning technology
  • Determine audience needs and flex program design to be applicable for the particular audience
  • Work flexible hours to support the development and delivery of workshops, which may exceed the typical workday
  • Consistently exhibit a positive outlook and collaborate in a highly engaged fashion with other team members
  • Maintain focus to achieve results and meet deadlines
  • Assists in the technical implementation of Technology-Based training (TBT) and instructor-led training (ILT) packages with guidance from more senior staff
  • Assists in maintaining and updating training material deployed through the LMS
  • Develops expertise in learning management system administration including user management, course and learning path design and configuration, content management, learning assignments, system testing, and error resolution
  • Regularly solicits feedback from peers, staff, and managers, and applies the learning to enhance their own performance and capabilities
  • Learning how to utilize metrics to manage and assess deliverables
  • Utilizes internal processes, tools, and systems for on-time delivery
  • Seeks guidance for prioritization and review of deliverables
  • Investigate and seek sustainable resolutions for user issues that impact the learning experience

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree in Instructional Design Technology, Education, Communication, English, Technical Writing, or any discipline requiring mastery of written communication skills or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in developing both Instructor-led and Web-based training using a variety of software tools
  • Proficient in instructional design methodology (ADDIE, CRI, Kirkpatrick)
  • Demonstrate experience in adult learning theory
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in enterprise management of Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning Platforms, and other learning technology tools
  • Demonstrate a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures involving learning technology products
  • Experience with Docebo and Degreed
  • Experience with Articulate, Camtasia, and InDesign
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct end-to-end analysis for learning technology needs
  • Demonstrate the ability to design performance-based learning experiences aligned to identified objectives and target population characteristics
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal English skills; Communicates clearly at multiple levels and with diverse audiences
  • Exhibits organization skills and self-motivation
  • Demonstrates project management skills
  • Able to promote change that supports the business strategy
  • Able to continuously demonstrate company culture and values
  • Possesses a general understanding of learning styles
  • Understands and prioritizes work against company business strategies and team Plan on a Page (POAP)
