Compound Photonics (CP) is providing state of the art Augmented/Mixed Reality (AR/MR) displays to leading AR/MR hardware companies and we are GROWING!Our real-time video pipeline is designed to enable the extreme performance requirements of AR/MR systems. This together with supporting the key light modulation technologies (Amplitude/Phase Liquid Crystal & microLED) provides a robust roadmap which will propel CP in supporting the future generations of real time displays.We are currently seeking key Operational and Technical staff to deliver on the promise of AR/MR as the next Computing Platform.If you want to be part of this exciting opportunity for personal growth and think you have got what it takes to succeed in a high end technology environment which offers excellent benefits and prospects then please read on.Purpose of the Role:Inspection and testing of electronic components to specified criteria using a range of equipment and methods within a cleanroom environment.Position is shift-based, 1st or 2nd shift Monday through Friday.Primary Job Responsibilities:* Inspection of material to the required quality standards and standard operating procedures* Testing of material using qualified test programs and proceduresPrimary Job Duties:* Operation of automated and manual inspection equipment per work instructions and standard operating procedures.* Operation of automated and manual testing equipment per work instructions and standard operating procedures.* Preparation of materials and tooling to applied standards.* Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment and processes as specified.* Gathering and recording of data.* Carry out visual inspection of product according to specification.* Identify non-compliant material or abnormal events, taking appropriate action as detailed in applied specifications.* Contribute to improvement activities and participate within working groups.* Achieve production targets by undertaking tasks according to specified plan and priorities using local decision-making to account for material and equipment availability.* Interface with maintenance and engineering staff.* Comply with Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.Required Skills and Experience:* High School diploma or equivalent* Ability to work strictly to quality standards and specifications* Attention to detail* Excellent manual dexterity* Good verbal and written communication skills* Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and data entryDesired Additional Expertise:* Experience in a manufacturing environment* Able to work occasional overtime as needed
