This is a Contract position in Phoenix, AZ posted April 5, 2021.

Position Overview:

In this role you will be responsible for helping to plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the operations and activities of the Warehouse. This includes training, assigning tasks, supervising and evaluating direct reports. You will be maintaining an efficient, productive and safe warehouse while meeting daily requirements. You will work closely with the Production, Quality and Shipping Departments. This position will ensure that standard operating procedures are followed, quality product is shipped on time and safety is always adhered to.

You are expected to be able to work independently, foster positive and engaged employees and ensure a professional working environment focused on providing excellent service.

Job Duties and Expectations:

  • Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities.
  • Handling receipt, documentation, storage and distribution of supplies
  • Train and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees
  • Assign workloads to warehouse employees
  • Receive, issue and deliver materials as assigned
  • Oversee deliveries and pick-ups
  • Using a computer to enter data into the inventory management system, Epicor.
  • Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks as necessary, assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment.
  • Able to be flexible to work different shifts including weekends, holidays, and long hours (working late, early, and overtime may be periodically required).
  • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
  • Excellent attendance is a must.
  • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred
  • Execute assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner
  • Warehouse experience required.
  • Previous Forklift (stand up/sit down) is preferred
  • Basic computer skills – experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

  Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities, including constant and repetitive motions, reaching, bending, picking, walking, standing, gripping and grabbing for duration of shifts up to 12 hours per scheduled day
  • Frequently lifting 5-50lbs
  • Have enough mobility to access and navigate in tight spaces
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30AM – 5PM

Friday: 8AM – 12PM
