Weld North Education seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test to design, develop, and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers.

A Day in the Life as a Senior Software Engineer in Test

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test of the Product and Enterprise Operations team, you will spend your days developing and applying software development and test automation skills in support of Quality Assurance tasks. You will work collaboratively with other automation team members in a high-functioning team to create high-quality results.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

– Expert knowledge in one domain and experience working in other domains.

– Experience coding in languages such as C#/.Net, and/or Java.

– Experience designing, writing, and executing automated and manual test cases

– Experience with automated testing tools, such as Cypress or Selenium Web driver

– Understanding of cloud-based web technology

– Proficient in Atlassian products, such as JIRA and Confluence.

– Excellent communication, coding, and analytical problem-solving skills

– Knowledge with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
