We are currently seeking a Cisco Network Administrator to support our efforts in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The CIO/G6 (Peraton) Network Operations Team provides infrastructure and switching support for the cutting edge technology that is currently being deployed throughout the USAICoE Fort Huachuca campus. As a Network Administrator, you will be on a team that currently manages over 1000 high speed data switches in an enterprise campus environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: – New installation and daily maintenance of new/existing Cisco and Nexus layer two and three switches. – Daily maintenance that includes ensuring that all switches are using the latest approved IOS software and are STIG compliant. – Providing quick and superior customer service when network problems are reported. Basic Qualifications: – Associate’s degree AND a minimum of 2 years of related Network Engineering experience. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement. – Knowledge of LAN technologies. – Experience configuring, installing and troubleshooting of Cisco and Nexus switches. – Layer 2 switch technology experience. – VLAN configuration and troubleshooting experience. – Port/ether channel configuration and troubleshooting experience. – Layer 3 routing technology experience. – Security + and Cisco CCNA certifications required – Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Preferred Qualifications: – Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) experience – Cisco Prime experience – Solar Winds experience – COMSEC experience – Current Cisco CCNA certification We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
