Eng/Mfg Recruiter
Reports To: Director, Human Resources

Recruiter responsible for full-service recruiting, including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates for corporate, technical and hourly positions, complying with company policy and EEO, ADA and Affirmative Action guidelines. Works with hiring managers to identify job requirements and specifications. Works under minimal supervision.


  • Sourcing and screening of potential candidates for engineering and professional openings
  • Develops and maintains a strategy to build and enhance recruiting brand through social media.
  • Recruits qualified candidates’ via media, networking, web-based job boards.
  • Interviews prospective candidates ensuring adherence to all federal, state and local laws and regulations (EEOC, ADA, and Affirmative Action) in the prescreening process.
  • Conduct reference checks and arranges for requisite background checks where necessary.
  • Maintains a data bank of qualified associates to ensure that we provide the highest possible quality and service in meeting staffing needs.
  • Documents job description and work requirements from hiring manager’s and specifications.
  • Identifies applicant and position match to ensure compatibility and presents hiring managers with information on the most qualified candidates.
  • Ensures that candidates thoroughly understand the duties and responsibilities of the position. Ensure candidates understand the benefits.
  • Maintains thorough and accurate documentation on all hiring managers’ interactions.
  • Makes cold calls to source candidates.


  • Recruiting experience in aerospace industry for corporate functions (Finance, IT, Sales, Engineering & Legal) preferred. Hourly recruiting experience required.
  • Experience with an ATS system required. Experience with Paycom preferred. Experience sourcing through LinkedIn required.
  • Excellent PC Skills, proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office with a general understanding of PC operations and applications. Internet recruiting experience required.
  • Have a high sense of urgency and passion towards success.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of labor and employment laws.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks/ problems simultaneously; meet deadlines; set priorities; continuously improve processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and networks.
  • Excellent problem solving, oral/written communication in one-on-one and group situations, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills; the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management also required.
  • Access to Export Control Information is required.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite is required.


Bachelor’s Degree in related field OR equivalent plus five or more years of experience as a recruiter.
