Radiology Technologist Sr – Travel (Southwest Region)

What part would you play in this role?

As a Travel Radiology Technologist, you will travel up to 75% of the time to locations nationwide to support QTC’s Mobile Clinical Operations. You will participate in the diagnosis and treatment of patients undergoing invasive radiographic procedures.  You will also work with medical assistants to provide exemplary customer service by performing routine front and back office duties, to include phones, data entry, and assisting in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician. 

You will also:

  • Perform radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and requested by attending Practitioners
  • Support, assist and prepare patients for examinations provided by Practitioners
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment in compliance with QTC policy and procedures and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain and support with supply inventory
  • Perform additional medical assisting diagnostic duties when needed
  • Teamwork responsibilities for supporting communication, ie answering phone calls and some supportive administrative duties upon request
  • Assists in the retrieval of diagnostic tests for scanning into propriety software application
  • Partners with operational teams and assists in provisioning of medical records
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of reports for all lines of business

We seek candidates w/ the following skills/competencies:

  • Critical thinking skills ie troubleshoot equipment and computer skills
  • Working knowledge of PACS, EMR and MS Office Suite software applications
  • Ability to organize plan and coordinate multiple tasks with a high sense of urgency and follow-through

We are hiring for multiple levels!

Position Requirements/ Starting Pay:

  • Level 1: HS Diploma/GED w/ 0-1 yrs experience: $22.30 – $24.60 /hour
  • Level 2: HS Diploma/GED w/ 1-3 yrs experience: $29.40 – $32.50 /hour
  • Level 3: HS Diploma/GED w/ 3-5 yrs experience: $35.00 – $38.70 /hour
  • Level 4: HS Diploma /GED w/ 5+ yrs experience: $38.00 – $40.00 /hour

Other Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program or a certified/accredited/JCERT hospital based program
  • Credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • CPR Certification required 

Desired:

  • Associates Degree in a related field
  • Phlebotomy and First Aid certification
