Responsibilities

Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift, including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provisions of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • American Heart Association A ACLS (in monitored areas) within 9 months of hire
  • Pediatric Life support (PALs) obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Two years recent ED experience

Preferred:

  • Charge Nurse Experience
  • BSN
  • NRP
