Registered Nurse – MedSurg:

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RN – Registered Nurse – MedSurg:

1. BLS issued through American Heart Association
2. ACLS issued through American Heart Association
3. Must be eligible to work in the United States
4. Must have an active RN License for the state of AZ
5. Minimum 1 year of experience working in MedSurg or Rehab
6. State of AZ: Fingerprinting card required or proof of application for the card required.

1. Provide direct patient care and function as a patient advocate
2. Assess the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients
3. Coordinate the patient and family/significant other education process
4. Continuously plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process
5. Participate with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care
6. Perform other duties as assigned
