Operating Room Staff Nurse

A beloved community medical center in Arizona is now hiring for an Operating Room Staff Nurse to join their Perioperative Services nursing team.

Reporting to the OR Nurse Supervisor, the Staff Nurse Perioperative Services will provide excellent care tailored to individual patients’ needs. The Operating Room Staff Nurse will supervise patient care personnel and delegate duties as required. The Surgical Staff RN will communicate effectively with physicians on a daily basis and collaborate with other nurses and health team members to designate responsibilities.

The Perioperative Staff RN will prepare the surgical site using aseptic techniques and deliver conscious sedation and psychological support to the patient as needed. Personality and communication skills are key, as the Perioperative Staff RN will provide emotional comfort and support to patients and family members as appropriate.
