Reporting and Unit Description: Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the Perioperative Nurse Manager will help lead clinical and administrative operations. They will be supported by CNOR Operating Room Assistant Nurse Managers, as well as a tenured and experienced team of Surgery Charge RNs. This facility has a total of 6 OR’s, 2 Endoscopy Rooms, and 65 FTE’s.

 Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing 
• 3 years of Surgical Services experience as an RN 

Job Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services: 

• Oversee the daily operations of the surgical services department, including managing staff schedules, assignments, and patient flow
•  Collaborate with the perioperative team to develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
• Help manage the department budget, control costs, and allocate resources efficiently while maintaining quality care standards. 
• Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, as well as provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities for the team. 
• Maintain and enforce infection control protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices with the surgical services department. 
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication among staff to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
