We are hiring a to assist providers with primary care services, maintain efficient patient flow, and assist with patient care such as exams, procedures, and patient education.

The will assist providers by preparing patient for services; collect and record necessary data for health, weight, medication, allergies; perform miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones; and maintaining provider schedule.Responsibilities* Promotes a welcoming environment with excellent customer service* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Practices universal precautions, including hand-washing and disposal of biohazard materials.

Prepares and maintains all exam/treatment areas, instruments, including disinfection protocols.* Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Provider; prior to appointments review clinical record for any documentation updates, required signatures, and follow-up actions that are needed, obtains new patient records and previous test results, x-rays, scans, etc, triage patients under the direction of the Provider/Nurse Coordinator, prepares patient and assists with exams, treatments, procedures.

* Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.

Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, provider office, and treatment room as appropriate* Records patient data, with attention to accuracy, including but not limited to; height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, allergies, and medication changes.

Administer and record results of urine drug screens, pregnancy tests, and blood alcohol testing.

* Administers electrocardiograms* Collects lab specimens, complete requisition with coded ICD-10 and forward to the appropriate lab* Arranges for pre-authorizations and pre-certifications if needed* Provides in house educational materials.

* Phones in and/or fax prescriptions to the appropriate pharmacy and make other patient callsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent* 2 years of experience as a * Proficient in Microsoft Office softwarePreferred Qualifications:* Certified * Experience as a within behavioral health services* Knowledge of opioid treatment, community resources and principals of recovery* Bilingual in SpanishPM19PI138371415
