Market Development ManagerWho You Are:As a part-time Market Development Manager you will drive sales of our client’s products by educating, training, and building relationships at assigned big box and specialty retail stores.

You will build brand awareness and presence at retail in your market, collect and report on in-store activities, assisted sales programs, and competitive information to grow your market and the brand.

You will drive sales for the leading robotic vacuum brand in the market, help customers save time and make their lives easierYour Next Challenge:
·Training, developing and educating retail sales specialists on the features and benefits of client’s products
·Strong selling and demonstrating techniques, and the ability to build strong partnerships will be pivotal in this supporting role
·Ability to effectively merchandise retail locations with visual displays and in-store promotional material.

Must be able to implement and troubleshoot visual merchandising
·Gathering, summarizing and reporting on field and channel feedback and insights on a daily and weekly basis, aiding in the growth and support of the brand
·Coordinating and executing special awareness and sales events at retail locations
·Position will work retail store hours including weekends up to 75%; 80% of time spent in retail stores training, merchandising, and demoing products.

Occasional overnight travel may be required
·Knowledge in home appliance and electronics preferredWhat You Will Need:
·Bachelor’s degree: emphasis in business, marketing, or communications preferred
·Knowledge in home appliance and electronics strongly preferred
·Sales experience highly desirable
·Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
·Thorough understanding of the retail space and visual merchandising in a retail sales environment
·Must have the ability to educate and communicate product knowledge through excellent presentation skills
·Excellent communications skills required in order to build strong, collaborative partnerships
·Outgoing and enthusiastic personality that is a self-starter and can work with minimal direct supervision
·Strong persuasive skills that can effectively shift sales decisions
·Must have the ability to motivate, influence and promote client’s products to the consumers at the retail level
·Excellent planning and organizational skills
·Access to the internet is REQUIRED
·Reliable transportation is REQUIRED
·Must have a valid driver’s license
