Technical Customer Support Electronics Specialist

Kforce has a client, a growing company in the Phoenix, AZ area, is seeking an individual to be a Technical Customer Support Electronics Representative. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. Overview: The Electronic Technical Support Technician will provide the customer base with exceptional customer service, in regard to the company’s electro-mechanical and electronic products. This position is a career growth opportunity that can advance to Level II and then Lead in the group. After that this person could move deeper into engineering – Verification and Validation Testing on New Product Development and Field Engineering Support.   • Electronics Technical Customer Service Support Specialist will answer inbound customer calls from customers utilizing the Automated Call Distribution (ACD) system while promoting Company product lines and services
  • Assist and support Company technical and electronic products in the field for various customers, installation personnel, and IT administrators
  • As an Electronics Technical Customer Service Support Specialist, you will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve customer problems and provide feedback of trending hardware and software issues
  • Process and issue Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers for mechanical and electronic products
  • Research and resolve customer problems or complaints to the initiation and status of customer orders in order to facilitate customer satisfaction
  • Convert issued quotes into orders and obtain all required documentation from customers (includes CIFs, POs, signed quotes, tax exempt forms)
  • Electronics Technical Customer Service Support Specialist will review electronic orders to verify and research to ensure they are keyed correctly

Job Requirements:


  • High School diploma or GED/equivalent required; In addition, candidate must have some Technical College Courses or demonstrated experience in the area of electronics or electrical concepts
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a Technical Customer Service Representative
  • Knowledge (Ohm’s Law, 12 volt systems, and basic diagnostics) in electronics is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work with clients to install and connect electronic products
  • Electrical or electronics knowledge and basic computer skills is preferred
  • Very familiar with the using the internet
  • Good at Math
  • Understanding of MS Windows and OS
  • Familiar with Jira a plus; Used for creating tickets for VnV testing
  • Knowledge of Scrum/Agile helpful but really not required
  • Familiar with NetSuite a plus but not required; Will be using NetSuite on a regular basis
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English in order to communicate effectively with Customers and internal Associates
  • Ability to carry out more complex instructions, follow specific directions, and deal with highly variable circumstances and constant change
