Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) is the industry leader and provider of real estate loan servicing in the United States, with global locations in India.  CMS provides the best in class mortgage servicing for a variety of third party customers and stakeholders, including Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS), Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), US Government-Sponsored Entities (GSE), US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Interim Lenders, Specialized Warehouse Lenders, and Secondary-Market Lenders.  CMS also provides loan and portfolio level asset management for SRE/Real Estate Capital markets (RECM) balance sheet loans and loan and facility level asset management for Commercial Mortgage Loan Finance (CMLF). Services include:  payment and escrow processing, cash and treasury management, asset management and surveillance – loan covenants, borrower consent requests, and investor reporting and collateral administration.

Specialized Cash Management is a specialized group of real estate professionals that focus on Cash Management/Treasury Sales for real estate Owner Operators and real estate Borrowers, Lenders, Originators, and Servicers.

The Client Manager 2 within this team develops and maintains client relationships with critical/complex clients and generates revenues, originates, structures, and executes transactions related to Servicing and/or Cash Management agreements while managing expectations of loan originators and servicers both external and internal.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Servicing cash management, and/or treasury products and services, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), legal documentation negotiation and credit/risk management
  • Fielding calls and evaluating client needs
  • Clarifying and articulating the value of Treasury Management product features and functionality
  • Consulting with clients regarding alternatives and determines customized solutions that best suits their needs
  • Monitoring implementation timelines and service level agreements
  • Ensuring that accounts are in compliance with government and bank policies
  • Acting as key pre- and post-sales liaison
  • Providing audit support

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

The salary range below is based on a Full time 40 hour a week schedule.
Salary range is determined by the location of the job.

TX-HOU-Downtown: Min: $51,100 Mid: $71,000
AZ-Scottsdale: Min: $51,100 Mid: $71,000

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relationship management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales or sales support experience
  • Banking industry experience
  • Hogan experience
  • Treasury management experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  • Experience using Wells Fargo Cornerstone system
