Admissions Coordinator Front Desk/Student Services – Dallas, TX Position Title: Admissions Coordinator (Front Desk)/Student Support Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Department: Student Services Location: Dallas, TX Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: The Admissions Coordinator will demonstrate an investment in the overall service the front desk provides to each student, potential students and other campus guests. The main objective is to provide excellent customer service, acting as first point of contact welcoming all visitors to the College. The front desk plays an intricate role in the success of the Admissions team and Student Services team at Arizona College. This position reports to the Campus Director and is responsible for providing administrative support to staff and faculty, current and prospective students and guests. This role will assist in processing admission applications and following up with schools and students for any missing materials. This role will also support our continuing and new students with blackboard, computer lab or technical questions. Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university preferred) 2. Minimum two years clerical or administrative experience 3. High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information 4. Customer Focus Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students 5. Efficient skills and experience in word processing programs and Excel spreadsheets 6. Knowledge of and ability to operate and maintain equipment: fax machine, calculator, photocopier, telephone, computer, and printer 7. Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment 8. Effective problem-solving skills and strong desire to help those who have questions and problems 9. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar 10. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction 11. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have excellent time management skills 12. Strong organizational skills and capability of managing multiple tasks Other Information: This position is open until filled.
