View our Covid 19 Resources Page at:Https://info.Uhg.Com/Primary Responsibilities:Respond to Provider / Enrollee denial inquiriesAssist with appointment scheduling for a discussion with our Medical Directors and a provider physicianVerify member information via application systemAdvise callers of case status (reason for denial and next steps)Resolve customer service inquiriesProvide excellent customer service to providersConstantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards while maintaining good attendanceYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)2 years of Customer Service experience2 years of professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job dutiesPrevious experience working with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents), Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents), and Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents)Comfortable working Monday Friday, 8 hour shift between operating hours of 7:00 am 7:00 pm CSTYou will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s US Telecommuting PolicyIf you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be requiredto screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.E., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.

When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas.
