Administrative Clerk – Attendance

This is a Contract position in Queen Creek, AZ posted July 9, 2021.

20 hours per week 

JOB GOAL:

To act as confidential receptionist to office and staff, to assure the efficient operation of the site and contribute to the effective, prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. General clerical skills.
  3. Exceptional public relations skills.
  4. Ability to handle front office environment.
  5. Must pass a background check.
  6. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  1. Open and/or close the front office daily
  2. Place and receive telephone calls and record messages
  3. Assist with daily attendance and registration
  4. Order and maintain supplies as needed
  5. Assist in office with appointments, calls, etc
  6. Welcome visitors and arrange for their comfort, and screen unexpected callers in accordance with pre-determined procedures
  7. Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail
  8. Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of school business.
  9. Serve as liaison to school offices in emergencies
  10. Operate and monitor all office equipment
  11. Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and process correspondence as instructed
  12. Accept payments and issue receipts
  13. Perform other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION: Classified Salary Schedule

REPORTS TO:  Principal

EVALUATION:  Initial evaluation to be completed no later than ninety (90) days after first day of work; thereafter, annually by supervisor.

HOURS:    20 hours per week
CLASSIFICATION: Non – Exempt
