Arizona College is seeking a full-time Financial Aid Officer.

This is an entry-level position that is ready to be filled with the right candidate.

This position will be located at our Tucson, Arizona Campus!

How Will You Be Contributing?

Reporting to the Financial Aid Director, your main responsibility will be assisting Arizona College students in all aspects of the financial aid process and to help ensure the school receives financial aid funds in a timely fashion.

Additionally, you will be:
Counseling students in order to determine their eligibility for Title IV funding, institutional loans, agency assistance, scholarships, and Federal Work Study.

Answering questions and providing continued support to students throughout the financial aid process via a variety of communication methods.

Supporting the success of continuing and new students by helping them understand and overcome personal, social, and behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations.

Responsible for meeting assigned productivity goals.

This includes knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services such as customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Exception ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment.

Effective problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to help those who have questions or seek resolutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient computer skills to include knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to successfully pass a criminal history check and drug test.

Proficiency in the Spanish language is preferable, but not required.

Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of two years of financial services or accounting experience; financial aid experience preferred.
